CNC machine operators, sawing, punching and drilling

Due to continuing growth we are currently recruiting for experienced  CNC machine operators, sawing, punching and drilling for the fabrication of steel and aluminium structures.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to:

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carry out CNC Operations in accordance with instructions and documentation provided.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, specifications, regulations, procedures and work instructions
  • Check that equipment used is working correctly and fit for purpose, record defects and notify supervisor
  • Report any defects to the Manufacturing Manager/Maintenance Engineer
  • Carry out necessary program, tooling dimensional checks and inspections, as necessary
  • Maintain traceability through machining process
  • Complete production records as work progresses
  • Checking and maintaining quality throughout
  • Inspecting parts to drawings and making adjustments, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping
  • Inspection of own work to ensure it meets the company‚Äôs high quality standards

We are looking for a motivated individual whose skills include:

  • Flexibility to work overtime when required
  • Structural steelwork experience
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Work to tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of booking on/off jobs using MRP system

This is a permanent position for the right candidate.

Holiday pay is calculated at basic rate x 1.33
