Announcing February’s Employee of the Month – Steven Fleming

As a leading structural engineering and metal fabrication company, we are dedicated to fostering a culture where every employee is empowered to work safely and responsibly. Our Health and Safety Employee of the Month initiative is one way we recognise and reward individuals who go above and beyond in ensuring a safe workplace.
For February 2025, we are proud to announce that Steven Fleming, affectionately known as “Flem” among his colleagues, has been honoured as our Health and Safety Employee of the Month. Since joining Had Fab in 2014, Flem has been an integral part of our team, serving as one of our Inspectors and actively contributing to our Health & Safety Committee.
Flem’s commitment to safety was recently exemplified in our Secondary Operations workshop, where he diligently ensured that subcontractors adhered to safe work practices, particularly concerning work at height. He took the initiative to verify that all tasks followed the agreed-upon safe methods, and that Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) were up-to-date and comprehensive.
His proactive approach not only safeguarded the well-being of those on-site but also reinforced the importance of vigilance and adherence to safety protocols. Flem’s actions serve as a testament to his dedication and set a standard for others to emulate.
