Celebrating Commitment: Had Fab’s September Health & Safety Employee of the Month

At Had Fab, safety isn’t just a regulatory requirement — it underpins everything we do. Our multi-site fabrication and engineering operations in East Lothian are built on the principle that every individual has a role in keeping the workplace secure.

One of our key initiatives to embed this is the Health & Safety Employee of the Month programme. Rather than simply an accolade, this scheme is our way of recognising the many positive behaviours that keep everyone safer.

More than an award—championing a culture of care

This programme is designed to spotlight team members who go above and beyond in demonstrating excellent awareness, responsibility, and leadership in workplace safety. It’s not just about compliance or ticking boxes; it’s about encouraging people to set a higher standard, with the aim that one person’s example can ripple across the whole team.

When someone takes a proactive step, guiding safe practices, it reinforces the idea that safety is a shared responsibility.

September’s Winner: Keith Crawford

We’re delighted to announce that September’s Health & Safety Employee of the Month is Keith Crawford, in recognition of his outstanding approach to the safe storage of hanging materials. His diligence served as a practical demonstration of how attention to detail can make all the difference on site.

Why it matters

At Had Fab, we’re proud to have a culture where safety is an ongoing and inbuilt priority.
