At Had Fab, safety isn’t just a box to tick—it’s the foundation of how we work. Protecting one another and creating a secure environment is central to every task we undertake, which is why we launched our Health and Safety Employee of the Month initiative.
This programme highlights individuals who go above and beyond to demonstrate exceptional awareness, responsibility, and leadership when it comes to workplace safety. More than an award, it’s a reminder that safety is a shared responsibility—when one person sets a strong example, it can inspire positive change across the entire team.
August’s Winner: Raymond McFarlane
We’re delighted to announce that August’s Health and Safety Employee of the Month is Raymond McFarlane. Raymond earned this recognition for his consistent commitment to safety, particularly in reinforcing the importance of wearing PPE and ensuring colleagues make proper use of designated pedestrian areas. His proactive approach helps protect not only himself but also those around him.
In an admirable gesture, Raymond chose to donate his prize to support the Three Peaks Challenge, an event many of our team members will be tackling in memory of Had Fab’s late co-founder, Jayne Harrison. His generosity and dedication embody the values that make our workplace stronger and safer.
A Culture of Shared Responsibility
Raymond’s achievement serves as a powerful reminder that health and safety are collective efforts. Every action—whether it’s wearing PPE, staying alert, or encouraging safe practices—plays a vital role in keeping our workplace secure.
We look forward to celebrating more champions like Raymond who make Had Fab not only a great place to work but also a safe one.
