Project: Detailed design and manufacture of access stairs for Livingston South Railway Station.

Scope of Project: The fabrication of two sets of platform stairs.

Delivery of Scope: In April 2018 we completed two sets of access stairs for Livingston South Railway Station. From the start of the design process, through to the fabrication of both sets of stairs, the job was successfully completed in just under one month. This involved our structural engineers working closely in conjunction with CPL Design approval team.

Outcome: We successfully consulted on the fabrication of two sets of platform stairs for Livingston South Railway Station. The end product was aesthetically pleasing and the client was happy.

Learning /Innovation:  Check the erection technique for the manufacture of stairs. Designed to achieve maximum envelop for galvanising bath.
