Had Fab Donates Thirty Chocolate Easter Eggs to Local Children’s Hospital

Earlier this month, Had Fab delivered thirty chocolate Easter eggs to the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People in Edinburgh.

Over recent months, our company has been committed to demonstrating its appreciation for the dedicated support of the East Lothian community since our doors opened in 1993. As such, entering its thirtieth year, Had Fab launched the ‘30 for 30’ campaign in support of local charities and community organisations.

The Royal Hospital for Children and Young People in Edinburgh is committed to providing expert care for the young residents of the East Lothian community and its surrounding areas. Some of the hospital’s residents did not get the chance to spend Easter at home this year, and so Had Fab contributed thirty eggs to the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity (ECHC) to support its efforts in providing Easter celebrations for the children.

The charity works onsite to elevate the quality of life for the patients by providing daily activities, youth work and life-changing family support for residents and their loved ones.

ECHC volunteers Sam and Alison welcomed the donation, commenting: “It is delightful when local businesses work with charities such as ours to support their local communities. The Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity works to support families in the most difficult times. Our sole purpose is to enrich the lives of the children staying at the Hospital and it is generous donations like these which help us to achieve our mission.

“The charity, and our patients’ families, are thankful to companies, like Had Fab, who contribute to enhancing the lives of the patients at the hospital.”

We hope the patients at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People enjoyed their Easter eggs, from everyone here at Had Fab!

As part of the ‘30 for 30’ campaign, Had Fab has already donated food packages to the East Lothian Foodbank, bunches of flowers to the Haddington Care Home and more recently sponsored a local dance school to compete at the Scottish Highlands and Islands festival, celebrating traditional arts and culture.
