MSP Paul McLennan and Councillor Lyn Jardine on a site tour of Had Fab facilities meeting some of the production team.Had Fab was delighted to recently receive a site visit from MSP Paul McLennan and Lyn Jardine, Paul’s Head of Office and Councillor for East Lothian Council.

The visit proved a great opportunity to show the minister many of the exciting projects Had Fab is working on and provided the chance for him to meet our team.

As part of the visit, we were pleased to show Paul and Lyn around our extensive production facilities, spotlighting the recent investment we have made and sharing with him our further plans for growth. This included showing our most recent CNC heavy plate processing machine and the continued investment in machinery is part of our ongoing business growth.

The site tour also provided the visitors with the opportunity to meet the production team, to talk to them about their roles within the Had Fab business and gave the management team the opportunity to present its growth strategy.  Presentation of this strategy focused on how Had Fab will support the delivery of key infrastructure projects in Scotland and the UK and across its core sectors of Power, Transmission and Distribution, Rail, Renewables and Civils this strategy includes key investment in machinery, our facilities and the development of our people and industry skills.

Speaking about the visit, Greg Scott, Had Fab’s Managing Director said: “We know how very busy Paul’s diary is, so for him to make time for this visit shows a commitment to local industry.  We were delighted to show him around our production facilities, share with him our plans for growth and, most importantly, provide our team with the chance to talk to him about their work with Had Fab.  We very much valued the visit and welcomed the opportunity to showcase the many exciting plans we have in place for the Had Fab business.”
